A warm welcome awaits you at the Glan Aber Hotel located in the picturesque tourist village of Betws-Y-Coed. The Glan Aber makes the ideal base for exploring the dramatic surroundings of the Snowdonia National Park as well as the nearby North Wales coastal towns. We are a dog friendly hotel with the majority of our rooms dog friendly, we have a number of family rooms as well as double, single and twin rooms and we also have a bunkhouse aimed at the outdoors types. A new addition is our 3 bedroom apartment, suitable for 6 adults.

Guests can relax in the comfortable family lounge with a fabulous wood burner, dine in our restaurant, or in the bar complete with a separate games room with a pool table, large screen TV with BT sports, games machines and a darts board to enjoy on a rainy day or to unwind after a long day on the hills. We also have toys available for younger children.
Excellent Facilities
We have a luxurious sauna, steam and jacuzzi room which is perfect for both residents and non-residents alike. Come and relax in the warmth after a long hike through Snowdonia, just £5 per person for one hour.
We also offer limited private parking, secure bike and equipment storage, selected dog-friendly rooms, excellent menus and an ideal central location in the village. All room rates include a full cooked breakfast (except the bunkhouse and self catering apartment where these can be booked at reception for a charge)

Our newly opened Hidden Garden bar, Pizza Hut and heated outdoor pods is a great addition to the Glan Aber offering. We are serving freshly made pizzas and paninis, cocktails and local beers, as well as our usual full bar service and menu.

There are so many things to experience and enjoy – an excellent golf course within walking distance.
There are miles of cycle trails and walks, castles and keeps all around plus all the outdoor activities you could wish for. These include (but are not limited to) high ropes, gorge walking, kayaking, karting, adventures underground and paintballing.
Serving local Dwyfor coffee and hot, homemade food our restaurant makes the ideal rendezvous – take advantage of the free wifi and catch up with your friends. Starting with morning coffees with freshly baked cookies and cakes, a cooked breakfast, then onto lunches and afternoon teas. Pizza and light snacks are served all day.
